Talking About Jesus Today

Redeemer West Side is hosting a fall conference called "Talking About Jesus Today" to help participants grow in confidence when sharing their Christian faith and discussing Jesus with friends, family, colleagues, and neighbors. The conference will combine teaching from three experienced speakers with discussion and practical exercises designed to equip attendees to winsomely share their faith.

Sing, Play, Speak

Sing, Play, Speak offers a supportive community for vocational instrumentalists, singers, actors, and writers who attend Redeemer Network churches, providing a platform to perform their work for peers and build a network of working artists who follow Christ. The program includes three rotating event types: Sing for musical performers, Play for instrumentalists and composers, and Speak for actors and writers, with each evening featuring a shared meal followed by performances.

Spiritual Practices: Habits of Flourishing in the Modern World

This monthly workshop series explores various spiritual practices designed to help participants resist the de-forming cultural influences of modern life and cultivate durable habits that lead to spiritual flourishing. Each workshop focuses on a different practice—such as generosity, prayer, Scripture, and Sabbath—with practical guidance on how to live them out in busy, complex lives while developing a rich communion with God.

Draw Near

Draw Near is a sacred gathering designed to intentionally create space for God's presence to permeate every moment, with the goal of letting Jesus become the loudest voice in participants' hearts. The conference invites all those hungry for a deeper connection with God during this season of unique spiritual awakening to come and experience His presence.

In Vino Veritas: Talk Series

Join St. Joseph's Young Professionals (ages 21–35) every Sunday after the 6 pm mass in the parish hall for a social gathering followed by In Vino Veritas, a talk series led by Fr. Jonah Teller, O.P.

Dream the Dream of Angels

Dream the Dreams of Angels features luminous oil paintings by Richard K. Stephens where children and fireflies shimmer together in fields of light, inspired by watching a toddler dance with unselfconscious delight and standing among thousands of synchronous fireflies in North Carolina. The works explore innocence, wonder, and presence, inviting viewers to remember a way of being often forgotten as adults and offering a pause from the city's noise to stand before beauty and see the world with fresh eyes

Breathwork and Sound Healing Meditations

This sound bath meditation invites participants into the practice of returning to the source of love through breath, sound, and stillness, exploring how the deepest giving flows from what we've first received. Drawing from ancient contemplative traditions and featuring live guitar and crystal bowls, the experience helps participants soften into the awareness that love isn't something to manufacture but something to rest in, followed by small group reflection to integrate insights and deepen connection.

Forgiveness Vs. Justice: Courageous Conversations NY Popup

This Courageous Conversations Pop Up explores the tension between forgiveness and justice, wrestling with whether it's possible to forgive without undermining justice and whether true justice can exist without forgiveness. The Jude 3 Project brings together leading voices for an honest, unfiltered dialogue designed to stretch thinking about faith, justice, and reconciliation through truth-telling, deep reflection, and challenging insights.

New Works Festival

The NYU Catholic Center is hosting its first festival of original theatrical works featuring a diverse lineup of theatre, dance, and performance art by emerging artists. The festival showcases exciting new works across two weekends, with opening night preceded by a Mass for Artists and reception.

City Wide Worship Night

This quarterly worship and prayer gathering brings together Christians from churches across NYC, featuring musicians from different congregations leading songs written in New York. The event celebrates the unity God is stirring among NYC churches and the new wave of creative talent offering their gifts in worship of Jesus, creating a space to encourage and fan the flame of what the Spirit is igniting across the city.

Faith and Work 101

The Faith & Work 101 course explores how God cares deeply about the work we do by examining scripture's narrative arc and the practical implications of the Gospel on our everyday work lives. Participants will engage through spiritual practices, daily devotionals, and group discussions in community to understand how their faith connects to their work.

James Fishback Entrepreneurship Talk

This monthly Catholic Entrepreneurship Talks series features entrepreneurs sharing how their faith inspired them to start their own businesses and overcome challenges, with this month's speaker being James T. Fishback, who launched Azoria investment firm after being ridiculed on Wall Street for praying before meals. Fishback will share how faith grounds his work in finance and culture, how to stand against the status quo in the financial world, and how to help others live their faith more fully in business and investing through practices like daily Mass for staff and donating profits to pro-life pregnancy centers.

Catholic Underground

Catholic Underground draws over 1,000 young adults to Saturday evening gatherings in midtown Manhattan for Eucharistic prayer, confession, music, and fellowship among Catholics navigating faith in NYC. The archdiocese considers it one of their most successful events, creating community for young Catholics seeking to maintain "deep Catholic values" in an often challenging urban culture.
