COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHT

Goldenwood Ministries: Helping people hear again, dream anew, and grow together.

Rev. Dr. David Kim, CEO of Goldenwood

Rev. Dr. David Kim is the CEO and co-founder of Goldenwood, a non-profit developing ecosystems of hope by cultivating a new vision of work. Through life-giving spiritual rhythms and unconventional organizational consulting, Goldenwood helps people listen deeply, reimagine their work as meaningful, and join God in the sacred task of renewal.

David brings decades of experience training hundreds of leaders in faith-work integration. His previous roles include VP of Redeemer’s Faith and Work, Executive Director of the Center for Faith & Work, Director of the Gotham Fellowship and editor of the NIV Faith and Work Bible.

Currently, David is writing a book for pastors on AI from a Christian pastor's perspective. He frequently speaks on "Hopeful Intelligence" at venues like Microsoft as well as various universities and churches, exploring how Christians can thoughtfully engage with emerging technologies.

His recent blog post, "Dust and Glory: How AI Confirms the Bible's Most Paradoxical Truth About Humanity," demonstrates his thoughtful approach to the faith-technology intersection.

Let us not forget the strange wonder of our own created being: earthbound and glorious, fragile and filled with the breath of God.  We are not machines.  We are miracles–dead people made alive…” David Kim

Together with co-founder Amilee Watkins, David brings over 30 years of collective experience serving thousands globally.
