Perfume Recap + What's Coming in February
We kicked off 2026 in a way we didn't expect. Now, here's what's next.
Perfume Recap: Dance as Prayer
We kicked off our first event of 2026 in partnership with Perfume, a Jesus-centered dance party with live music and performances from incredible Christian artists. And I'll be honest: I didn't fully know what I was walking into. But I loved it.
There was something powerful about seeing believers take over a New York City concert venue. Not to perform Christianity or be polished. Not to pretend we're perfect. But to show up as we are and worship with genuine joy.
This is what Christians*inTech has always been about: showing up in our Christian identity beyond Sunday.
We can praise. We can worship. We can celebrate. We can vibe. We can be fully ourselves in any setting and still belong to Jesus.
The name Perfume comes from a story many of you know. A woman broke her alabaster jar and poured it out as an act of love and faith. The world called it wasteful. Jesus called it beautiful. That's been sitting with me.
Sometimes it's not the big things that matter most. Sometimes a simple act—like creating a space for Christians to worship in joy, in public, in culture—becomes part of our pouring it out. Our offering. Our yes.
Huge shoutout to the Perfume team and every artist who came out and used their gift to glorify God. New York is overflowing with talent, but it hits different when it's surrendered to something greater.
If you missed this one, don't worry. We're excited to support Perfume throughout the year, and we hope you'll join us at the next one.
Christians*inTech Singles Nights
Two dates, two age groups — you get options.
Wednesday, Feb 25
20s + 30s
Friday, Feb 27
30s, 40s + over
Okay… we heard you 😅 The most requested event is back.
Why This Matters
Our last singles night had 340+ people and a 200+ person waitlist. It went viral (we're still recovering emotionally 😄). But more than the numbers — we saw real connections happen. Real conversations. Real community forming.
What's Different This Time
- Church Partnership: We're partnering with 10+ churches (goal: 12). This isn't one group's thing — it's the Body showing up together.
- Built for Connection: We've worked through the tech hiccups from last time. We have a dedicated app built with our partners at Valence to help facilitate faith-aligned, meaningful connections during the event.
- Theme of Wholeness: Not "show up and perform." Not "come optimized." Just come as you are — whole in Christ — and from that place, connect intentionally.
- NEW NAME: "Uncuffed" is just the place holder name. Be on the look out for this mixers unique name!
Official invites are going out next week. Subscribers will get first access. So save these dates now and keep an eye on your inbox.

A Call for Volunteers
As many of you saw in our year-end reflection, Christians*inTech has grown rapidly — and we're continuing to grow in 2026. That means two things:
We're Looking for Volunteers
If you have the capacity and the calling to help build — especially in smaller, more intimate community spaces — I'd love to connect.
We're moving beyond only large-scale events. We want steady rhythms. Smaller groups. Real discipleship + friendship. Spaces where you're not just "meeting people," you're actually known.
We're Looking for Partner Churches + Ministries
One of the missions God has put on my heart is to break down the silos. Not self-promotion. Not self-preservation. Kingdom collaboration.
If you're building something — or you know a ministry / church / community we should connect with — reach out. We're happy to promote what you're doing. We're even more excited to collaborate and build together.
Just reply to this email and tell us: your name + church/ministry (if applicable), what you'd love to help with, and any ideas God has been putting on your heart.
