NEXT EVENT

Join us on April 10th for Redemptive Work: Faith & Purpose in the Modern Workplace
On April 10th, CIT is hosting an evening of thought-provoking discussion and about the meaning of work. We’ll explore what it means to approach work through a redemptive lens.
Inspired by insights from Gallup’s research on workplace detachment, this conversation will challenge us to rethink our approach to work—how we find meaning, build community, and contribute to something greater.
Featuring insights from:
Bradford Jones (Principal, SignalFire) has deep experience in AI/ML and SaaS investments, having deployed over $600M in capital and worked with founders across all stages of growth.
Scott Crosby (Founder & CEO, Global Cities Group) has spent 40 years shaping global cities through the gospel, pioneering ways for Christians to live with “faithful presence” in key industries
Following the panel, there will be small group discussions led by young professionals across industries—including tech, finance, consulting, law, healthcare, marketing, media, government, education, hospitality, and more.
Whether you're looking to rediscover meaning in your career, connect with like-minded professionals, or gain new insights into faith and work, this event is designed to inspire, challenge, and equip you.
COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHT

Hope for New York
This Lent season, Hope for New York is partnering with City Wide Worship NYC for a worship evening inspired by the Beatitudes, reflecting Christ’s heart for the poor, merciful, and peacemakers.
Lent calls the church to focus on generosity toward the poor and marginalized, and this night will specifically pray for these groups in our city, highlighting local nonprofit partnerships. This special Lent edition of the quarterly interchurch worship and prayer event will feature NYC-based musicians and songs. It’s a unique chance to worship with others from different churches while fostering unity and compassion for the community.
Join us on March 22 from 5 - 7pm EDT at Trinity Baptist Church (250 East 61st Street, New York, NY 10065) to encounter God, pray together, make new connections, and be inspired to act. Bring your small group, friends, or come solo—hope to see you there!
If you’re part of or know of any cool ministry programs or faith-based organizations that we should include, please take a moment to complete this form.
FEBRURAY EVENT RECAP

Finding Love in NYC: A Recap of CIT Singles Game Night
Dating in your 30s as a Christian can feel like navigating a maze—especially in a city as fast-paced and unpredictable as New York. The stakes are high, the options overwhelming, and the desire for a meaningful, faith-centered relationship can sometimes feel like an impossible dream.
That’s why we hosted CIT Singles Game Night, specifically for our brothers and sisters who are 30+—not as a solution to the dating dilemma, but as a space where genuine connections could begin.
Just a few days after Valentine’s Day, we gathered at Lot 15, a stylish cocktail lounge in the heart of Midtown, with fellow believers, all looking to meet others beyond the typical swiping culture. It was incredible to see real connections form—not just romantically, but in the shared experience of navigating faith and relationships in this season of life.

Here’s the truth: Dating in your 30s can feel lonely, frustrating, and even disheartening at times. But amidst the waiting and the unknown, we’re still called to love—God, others, and ourselves. Whether that love takes shape in deep friendships, in community, or in a relationship that grows into something more, every connection we make is an opportunity to live out our faith.
To everyone who joined us, thank you for showing up with open hearts. And if you couldn’t make it this time—don’t worry, we’ve got more in store.

What’s next? - We’re in conversation with other faith-based and Christian dating organizations to open up even more opportunities for authentic connections—on a broader scale and across diverse communities. Think bigger gatherings, multi-community meetups, and events that go beyond the typical “singles mixer,” weaving faith and fellowship into the process.
Stay tuned for announcements on these exciting new partnerships in the coming months!
